Why is it important to use organic ingredients?
Your skin is the largest organ of your body and ingests what you put on it so organic and natural products are the key to a healthy body, healthy skin and a healthy life. Products made with organic ingredients mean that potentially aging, harmful and toxic insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and fertilizers have not been included.
Where does Éminence source their ingredients?
Éminence sources premium ingredients worldwide to bring you the freshest, most active products available.
Are there fragrances and colours added?
We use non-harmful essential oils and the natural colours of fruits, vegetables, herbs and teas to enhance some of our products' colours and scents.
How is the soap base different from SLS?
Sodium Lauryl Sulphate is a foaming agent used in bubble bath and factory floor degreaser. SLS is commonly used in products that foam or soap up. Instead of using this harsh chemical Éminence uses Cocamidopropyl Betaine derived from coconut oil as this is a safe and effective non-irritating cleanser.
What preservatives does Éminence use?
Éminence uses natural, organic ingredients as preservatives such as honey, lemon, glycine derivative from soy, salicylic acid (under 5%) derived from willow bark and rosemary to slow down the oxidization process.
How is it possible to still make products by hand in the amounts needed each year?
Our ingredients are still hand-picked and prepped as it is part of our eco-philosophy. We employ many farm labourers in Hungary which has many community benefits.
What products are safe for pregnant clients?
We recommend that pregnant clients check with their Doctor for any product contraindications that may be unique to them. It is generally recommended that stimulating products should be avoided.
Some products make my skin feel momentarily warm and look flushed when applied?
You will have purchased a product that contains Paprika. We use this wonderful ingredient to wake up the skin and get the circulation and oxygen moving, just like you would do to your body during exercise. This is an ideal product if you want a refreshed, enlivened skin or feel you have stubborn skin concerns that need special attention like congestion or breakouts. Consult with your Beauty Therapist if you need assistance with this.
My masque is a different colour to the last time I purchased it. Is it Ok to use?
Absolutely. Because Eminence prides itself on using no artificial colours or fragrances you will have some slight variations in colour and fragrance from time to time due to the seasonal nature of the ingredients in the product.
How long is the shelf life on each of the products?
When you purchase your Eminence product it's a good idea to use it in its entirety in 3-6 months however the shelf life can be as long as 1 year and even longer for certain products.
Do you have to refrigerate the products?
No, the products should be kept in a cool dry place at room temperature. They should never be stored in direct sunlight or stored above room temperature.
Where are Éminence products made?
We are proud to make the majority of our products in Hungary, the birthplace of spa culture, while the USDA Collection is made in America, to comply with USDA guidelines. We source the best ingredients from all over the world and combine them with traditional Hungarian craftsmanship to bring you the best skin care available worldwide.
Does Éminence test on animals?
Absolutely not. We are proud members of the Cruelty-Free/Leaping Bunny Association.
When was Éminence first established?
As a family business in 1958 in Budapest, Hungary.

We are proud to be the only authorised seller of Eminence Organic Skin Care in Australasia and we stand behind each and every one of the amazing products we offer when purchased from our own authorised online store or through one of our recognised spas and salon partners.
Why does Éminence only sell products in spas and salons?
Éminence Organic Skin Care is designed to be most effective when prescribed by a professional skin therapist trained extensively by our team of Éminence educators. Without the assistance of a professional, your client could select the wrong products for their skin type, and fall short of their desired results.

What are the professional affiliations and certifications held by Éminence?
Éminence is an active member of the Organic Trade Association (OTA), the association for the organic industry in North America. The OTA exists to promote and protect organic trade to benefit the environment, farmers, the public and the economy. The OTA, formerly the Organic Foods Production Association of North America (OFPANA), was established in 1985 in the United States and Canada. Since its inception, the association has been a key player in shaping both the regulatory and market environment for organic products. The OTA is a leader in advocating and protecting organic standards so that consumers can have confidence in certified organic production. We also hold certifications by Demeter International, Biokontroll, USDA-Oregon Tilth and USDA-ASCO so customers can use Éminence products with 100% confidence that they are safe and fully compliant with international labelling requirements and regulations.
How are my goods packaged and shipped to me?
We will dispatch your order within 48 hours of receipt of payment in full for the relevant product/s. If the product you have purchased is out of stock, the order may be withheld until the ordered item is in stock (at our sole discretion). If we foresee a delay in delivery of your chosen product/s, we will either: Advise you of the delay and the next availability of the product and offer to send any current stocked and ordered products immediately;
Or, advise you of a suitable alternative product if possible and send such products immediately if agreed to by you;
Or, advise you of the delay and next availability of the product and hold all product/s and send such product/s out as a complete order once all products are in stock.
Goods will be posted via epost contract with Australia Post. This is a traceable post system. If you have not received your products within a reasonable amount of time please contact us at admin and we can endeavor to locate the whereabouts of your parcel. We send all products by normal postage delivery. Express post can be arranged for an additional fee. Please contact admin for current pricing. Countries we can ship to include:
