Out they come, scarves, beanies and all the gorgeous coats, boots and fabulous winter fashions. When rugging up this winter, don’t just look to change your wardrobe, your skin care routine needs to change too. For most of us, dry skin is our main source of grief during winter. The low humidity, heaters and cold winds are moisture-stripping conditions for our epidermis (top skin layer) – resulting in dry, flaky and lacklustre skin.

But some simple changes to your skin routine will work to replenish and rehydrate your skin, soothing away the winter skin blues.

1. Turn up the moisture

Shelve the lightweight summer moisturiser and bring out the winter warriors! Try our rich night cream, Linden Calendula Treatment Cream. Who doesn’t love nuts, salmon and avocados? Also, avoid going overboard on hot drinks like coffee because they have a dehydrating effect on your body. Switch it out with herbal teas or even warm water with a slice of lemon makes a delicious cup of winter warm up!
